Nice to be Home, looks at what home means to a child. Using animated drawing from 8-year-old, Royce, this emotive video explores themes of safety, shelter, sustenance and the frailty of home.
Since graduating from RMIT, award winning filmmaker, Anna Brownfield, is known for her documentary and erotic films. Making it Handmade!, her first documentary, premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival 2010, and premiere on ABC2 in 2011. Her erotic film work has screened at numerous festivals around the world and won Anna numerous awards for directing.
Working with artist, Annee Miron, Anna has made two films, the first was used as a video installation for an exhibition entitle Falling… The second entitle Myoclonic had its premiere at West Projections in 2017.
Most recently, Anna received funding from Screen Australia and ABC to make a short documentary screening on ABC iView entitled Wicked Women.
